The sun came out for a few minutes this morning. Besides that there hasn’t been much evidence in the last couple of weeks of Alabama’s warm and sunny nature.
It’s not all bad, though.
It was drizzling when I crossed the street to meet Kaci for lunch. It felt right to be on my feet, in the city, in the rain.
When I get cold at home I have my Haapsalu shawl from Triin, a quilt from Aunt Sherrie, and my blue wool socks that Merlin knitted.
Tea.
We found a YouTube video of a fire in a fireplace and occasionally have it playing in the family room.
And on it goes…
Rain is only rain, and when spring comes we’ll be glad it came.
